Which brands can you dye?
Almost any leather bag, whatever the maker. We regularly work on Hermès, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Dior, Gucci, Bottega Veneta, Saint Laurent, Prada and Celine. For woven, suede and exotic leathers, we check the condition first and tell you whether the work is possible.
How should I choose a restoration workshop?
Look for real photographs of past work, and for a workshop that tells you the limits before it starts. At Sinsa Atelier, before-and-after photos of our work are in the gallery.
Can you restore a bag in very poor condition?
We start with photos. Heavy fading, exotic skins and woven leather are often possible, depending on condition. If a restoration is not realistic, or we cannot promise a good result, we will tell you before any work begins.
How long does it take?
It depends on the work and the condition of the piece; we give you an expected timeline after assessing it.
Will the colour peel?
The colour is sealed with a finishing coat. Areas that see a lot of friction, such as handles and corners, can still wear with use, so we explain how to care for the piece when we return it.
Can I change the bag to a different colour?
Yes. We restore original colours and also re-dye bags in a darker colour. Dye can only take leather darker than its current colour, so a dark bag cannot be dyed lighter. Send us the colour you have in mind, or a reference photo, and we will explain what is possible.

Can I send my bag by courier or from abroad?
Yes. We accept bags by courier from anywhere in Korea. Once we have talked the work through by message, we will explain how to send your piece.
How is the cost decided?
It depends on the brand, leather, size, condition and the scope of work, so we do not publish prices. Message us or call (+82 10-2134-4120) about your piece and we will tell you once we have seen it; the final cost is confirmed after we inspect the bag.
