Work record

Deep reddish-brown edgeNo colour change

  1. 01Condition on arrival

A Hermès Béarn wallet in orange embossed leather. The colour and grain of the outer leather were in good condition; only the edge paint on the folding edges and corners had worn and peeled.

  2. 02Target colour

Only the edge paint was redone, in a colour that suits the orange leather. The leather did not need dyeing, so its colour was left as it was.

  3. 03Colour mixing & process

    1. Clearing the worn edge paint
    2. Repainting the edges
    3. Finishing
  4. 04Result

The edges look smooth and neat. The sides can be seen in the first and third after photos, the corners in the sixth. After · photo 3

  5. 05Limits

There is no before photo of the side edges alone. Before · photo 5

  6. 06About these photos
