Louis Vuitton Multi Pochette in Empreinte — bicolor re-dyed all black

A Louis Vuitton Multi Pochette in Monogram Empreinte (embossed) leather, black with a beige monogram. The request was to take the whole piece, beige monogram included, to black.

All black — the beige areas were changed to black, a change to a darker colour.

The beige areas took the dye less readily than the black ground, so they were dyed in several rounds until they reached the same depth.

Care was taken not to fill in the embossed pattern; the zips and gold-tone rings were left as they were.
