03About the work
A Prada wallet in pink-beige Saffiano leather. The PRADA MILANO lettering on the front is a metal plate, and as its plating wore, the letters had turned stained and dull.
The lettering is fine and sits tight against the leather, so only the surface of the logo was prepared, taking care not to damage the leather around it, and then re-plated in gold.
The Saffiano leather was not touched. Compare the logo close-ups in the third intake photo and the second after photo.
